We are pleased to inform you that the S D M Law College in Collaboration with United Nations Development Programme and National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, are jointly organizing two day Legal Awareness Workshop on Biological Diversity Law in India on 15th& 16th February 2019 at SDM Law College premises Mangaluru.

The Workshop would not only provide a forum for sharing experiences and case studies but would be able to identify various issues involved in the legal aspects of Biological Diversity law and possible solution for the same.

 

Legal Opus

Post Graduate Department  of Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Law College & Centre for Postgraduate Studies and Research in Law, Mangaluru, invites submissions for the 15th issue of Legal Opus. Legal Opus is a Peer Reviewed Annual Law Journal of our institution for enabling the academicians, legal professionals, activists, Judges, Jurists and students to publish their research papers. Legal Opus is a refereed Journal.

Research papers are invited for publication every year. Articles submitted for publication are subjected to Peer Review by a panel of experts comprising of pioneering jurists and eminent academicians acting as blind referees to ensure that the articles submitted for publication adhere to the minimum standard in terms of methodology, theory and content.

Alumni Reunion of 1991-1996 batch

The alumni batch of 1991-1996 (5 years LLB) had reunion in the college campus on 28th December, 2018. Prof. Rajendra Shetty, Retd Principal, Retd professors Mr. Udaya Kumar M & Mrs.Vinoda Rai, Shri Jayarama Padakannaya, Senior Advocate & Guest Facluty were present on the occasion. Alumni recalled their glorious memories in the college.

Human Rights Day 2018

The college celebrated International Human Rights Day on December 10th, 2018 at the college library. There was a book exhibition where books relating to Human Rights were displayed and awareness about human rights was displayed on the library notice board. Dr. Balika spoke to the students about the importance of human rights in the present day society. Mr. Maheshchandra Nayak, Mr. Amith and Mr. Pushparaj were present.

Lex Orbis 2018 – International Trade Law Moot Court Competition

We, the office bearers of the SDM Law College Moot Court society, Karnataka, India cordially invite you to take part in our International trade law moot court competition -LEX ORBIS 2019 which is going to be held from 14 – 16 March 2019. Teams from around the globe are taking part in this mega event where legal minds with wit and expertise are going to judge them. It will be a 3 day event.

The last date to provisionally register is 15th February 2019 . Confirmation of registration is by sending the soft copies of the duly filled registration form and demand draft of Rs. 4000/- to this email by 23rd February 2019.

She has completed LLB from JSS Law College, Mysore and LLM from University of Mysore with 1st Rank with 3 Gold Medals. She is currently pursuing her PhD from Manasagangothri, University of Mysore. She has participated and presented research papers at 02 International Conferences, 08 National Seminars and has 01 Publication. She served as assistant professor at government law college, Hassan and Mahajanas Law College, Mysore. She is currently working in SDM Law college, Mangalore from August 2016.
She served as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at SVYM Development Organization and she is currently the faculty coordinator of “Legal Aid & Extension Cell”.
