Aims:
- To provide humanitarian assistance and support to vulnerable individuals and communities within and outside the college campus.
- To promote health awareness and provide first aid training to students, faculty, and staff members.
- To enhance the college’s preparedness for emergencies and disasters and actively participate in relief efforts when necessary.
- To engage in outreach activities aimed at promoting social inclusion, diversity, and community cohesion.
- To advocate for the rights and welfare of vulnerable groups and provide legal aid services to those in need, in accordance with Red Cross principles.
Objectives:
- Establish a Red Cross cell within the college, comprising motivated students, faculty advisors, and volunteers committed to the Red Cross mission.
- Organize regular training sessions and workshops on first aid, disaster preparedness, health promotion and relevant themes.
- Develop and implement initiatives to raise awareness about humanitarian issues, including campaigns, seminars, and awareness drives.
- Conduct outreach programs in nearby communities, including health camps, blood donation drives, legal awareness sessions, and other initiatives to address local needs.
- Provide support and assistance during emergencies and disasters, including coordinating relief efforts, distributing aid, and offering emotional support to affected individuals.
