Summary of the event / Additional information:
The Karnataka State Law University (KSLU), Hubbali to which SDMLC is affiliated has introduced internal assessment from the current academic year. Writing assignments therefore, has become an integral part of the course work. But, first year students are often lost when it comes to such an exercise because they are unfamiliar with the format in which the assignments have to be submitted and also have very little idea about the topics assigned.With this in mind, the Unit thought it best to conduct a brief session to give an overview of how to write assignments. The session was tailor-made for the first year BBA students by giving them comparative ideas of how to deal with topics that are purely related to Business Administration and those that are related to law. Special emphasis was given to the concept of case analysis.
