On 29 November 2025, the students of Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Law College, on behalf of the Legal Aid and Extension Cell, conducted a Legal Awareness Programme at Government Higher Primary School, Renjala, and Government Lower Primary School, Bagaltakatte. During the visit, student coordinators and volunteers interacted with the school children and created awareness on key topics such as the POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences), the Constitution of India, Fundamental Rights and Duties, and other essential legal concepts. The purpose of the programme was to educate young students about their rights, responsibilities, and personal safety.

The sessions were interactive, informative, and well-received by the students. The programme was carried out by Legal Aid Volunteers: Shlaghya N. Kotian, Vijeth M. Shetty, Aditi Pai, Sowjanya, and Spoorthi V. S., who effectively engaged the students and contributed to strengthening legal awareness at the grassroots level.
